Here are some things that interest me.

One day I will completely update this page, but for now, take what you want and leave the rest.

The Law

Fully embracing the "better late than never" notion, I entered Willamette University College of Law just before turning 50 and graduated in 2004. After passing the Bar Exam and getting some initial experience at a small Salem firm, I opened my own office. I can be found on the web at Dennis E. Koho, Attorney at Law. I offer general practice legal services and get to use much of my past experience in helping clients with issues they have with government at all levels.

Salem Keizer Transit

I am a member of the Cherriots Board of Directors. We provide bus and other transit services to the Keizer/Salem area and value your input. The SKT Home Page provides schedules, routes and many other resources. My term of office expires June 30, 2005.

City of Keizer

January 1999, marked the end of my third two-year term as mayor of the City of Keizer. I don't make many campaign promises, but in 1996 I promised to make my third term my last. I kept that promise. That doesn't mean, however, that I'm not still interested in my city and its government.

Keizer Heritage Foundation

I serve on the Board of Directors of the Keizer Heritage Foundation. The foundation is responsible for the operation of the old Keizer School which was developed into Keizer's Community Center. The Center houses the Keizer Art Association, the Keizer Museum, the Keizer Chamber of Commerce, and more.

Vietnam Veterans Home Page

One other project in which I have played an active role is the Vietnam Veteran's Home Page. If you check it out you will find quite a bit of information on the Vietnam War including maps, pictures, war stories and tributes to the dead. There is an amazing amount of information available through that HP and resources are being added every day. I've written a piece there about my brother, Bill Koho who was killed while a Marine in Vietnam.

It was through the Home Page that I got to met three Marines who served with my brother in Vietnam. We spent Veterans Day, 1996, at the Vietnam Memorial at Angel Fire, New Mexico.

The project is always looking for additional help. If you've got some time and/or talent, please volunteer.

Bill served in Vietnam with Steve Stickley. Stick has put together a great home page dedicated to their unit. Check it out.

Baseball Stuff

A public-private partnership built Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer during my tenure as mayor and brought the Salem-Keizer Volcaones professional baseball team to town.

Funny Stuff

I am a contributor to the Top Five List which has rapidly become one of the Internet's most popular humor lists. Our lists have been reported as fact by the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and ABC News. One list was even an answer and question on Jeopardy. The regular list is daily and free.

My Funny Page is a collection of stuff I've found around the net and elsewhere. I know some of it is really bad. It's supposed to be. It's also quite dated and in need of an overhaul, but as Tom used to say, "free is a very good price."
