Norm is an accountant
Norm has always liked electronic gadgets.
Norm is always looking for ways to make his professional practice more effective, efficient, productive and profitable.
A while back Norm was explaining to me how his new photocopier was enabling him to make his time so much more efficient.
This photocopier would do just about everything except make coffee. It could copy both side of multiple pages, collate, staple and stack the end product (folded if desired)
Norm had just produced a major report for mailing to clients detailing the effects of some recent tax law changes on small business.
However, Norm didn't want to tie up the equipment for a major printing job during the business day, because that would not be an effective. efficient, productive or profitable use of the equipment during prime time. So, Norm set everything up on a timer, so that if would be done in the middle of the night.
It seems that unbeknownst to Norm, one of his employees was working late that evening and needed to make a photocopy. So, he took Norm's stuff out of the copier, made his copy and went back to his desk.
When Norm arrived in the morning, he had 5,000 blank pages all neatly collated, folded, stapled and stacked =:-0
